Wow! It's been awhile since l last wrote here. I have been fighting a bad case of virile pneumonia and not feeling very well. But spring is here and l seem to be doing alright now. Or should l even say spring as it is still quite cold out. l am just waiting to get out and garden. In the mean time, my wife Georgina and l have been working on a video intro about the site and it should be posted very soon...its called "a conversation with the artist". Hope you check back to watch it. l have been painting a little bit but should be back into it as soon as the weather warms up...bloody rheumatoid arthritis...very hard on me in the winter, my hands get so sore. Anyways, l must go now but will write again soon.

Holy moly what a storm last night. Thunder, lightning, winds gusting to 98 clicks....power out to thousands of homes, roads flooded, slides blocking roads.....man it was wild.....the boom bang of the thunder around mid night was very intense. Was awake most of the night...waiting to hear my roof go...lol...still there. around 6 am l was going to get up to make coffee....when just then our power went out. Was out until 1 p.m. Just having my first cup now. well its time to go look at things around town so chat later.

Hey, glad to see you here and thanks for dropping in. Well today is a day to remember eh. My dad fought in the 2nd world war and you could see the anguish on his face when ever he was thinking about it. I do believe he had some very tough times there but he would hardly ever talk about it and when he did, it was not in much detail. I am glad that so many gave so much so that we could have the peace we enjoy here in Canada. When l watch the news and see the horrors that still go on in other parts of the world, l am glad to live in a land such as ours. So hats off to all of you who made this country what it is and hats off to my father.
